- Glutathione (GSH) is a tripeptide with structure γ-L-Glutamyl-L-cysteinyl-glycine (γ-Glu-Cys-Gly). Molecular formula C₁₀H₁₇N₃O₆S, molecular weight ≈ 307.3 g/mol. The unusual γ-glutamyl bond makes it resistant to most peptidases.
- Each batch is HPLC-verified at ≥99% purity, with the cysteine thiol group quantified to ensure the reduced form (GSH) is supplied. COA included.
- Store lyophilised GSH at -20 °C, sealed and protected from light and moisture — the cysteine thiol is highly susceptible to oxidation. Reconstitute in degassed buffer and minimize air exposure. Add chelators (EDTA) where appropriate to limit metal-catalyzed oxidation.
