This page sets out general laboratory expectations for handling Peptra Labs research materials. It is reference information for qualified laboratory personnel, not a protocol, dosing guide, or instruction for use in humans or animals.
Receiving a shipment
- Inspect the outer parcel and each vial on arrival. Photograph any visible damage before opening further.
- Check that the compound name and batch number on the vial label match your order paperwork.
- Report damaged, incorrect, missing or visibly compromised items to info@peptralabs.com within 14 days of delivery.
Storage of lyophilised material
- Keep vials sealed, protected from light and moisture, and cold for long-term storage.
- Avoid repeated temperature cycling. Return material to storage promptly after handling.
- Keep the original labelling intact so the batch remains traceable to its Certificate of Analysis record.
Reconstitution and prepared solutions
- Reconstitution should follow your institution’s validated handling procedure.
- Use an appropriate laboratory solvent; bacteriostatic water is stocked under Laboratory Supplies.
- Label prepared solutions with compound, batch, concentration and preparation date.
- Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles of prepared solutions.
General laboratory safety
- Handle research materials in a designated laboratory area using your institution’s standard personal protective equipment.
- Do not eat, drink or store food in areas where research materials are handled.
- Follow local rules for the disposal of research chemicals and contaminated consumables.
- Request safety documentation by emailing info@peptralabs.com with the product name.
Research-use boundary
