Description

All presented information is based on scientific publications which can be found at the end of product description below.

GHK-Cu (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine copper complex) is a naturally occurring tripeptide first discovered in human plasma in 1973. Its biological effects are mediated through copper(II) ion binding and broad-spectrum gene expression modulation. Research Highlights 1. Skin Rejuvenation — Tightens skin, repairs barrier proteins, improves firmness and elasticity. Reduces fine lines, wrinkles, and photodamage.

2. Gene Expression — Up/down-regulates numerous genes via Connectivity Map analysis. Activates collagen synthesis, angiogenesis, fibroblast activity.

3. Tissue Regeneration — Promotes regeneration in lungs, bones, liver, and stomach lining. Stimulates collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycan synthesis.

4. Neuroprotection — Alleviates neuronal apoptosis via miR-339-5p/VEGFA pathway.

5. Pulmonary Protection — Inhibits pulmonary fibrosis and acute lung injury.

6. Antimicrobial — GHK-Cu conjugates show antimicrobial activity in vitro. References available upon request. The product is intended for scientific research and development purposes only. Chemical substances shall not be used as a drug, medicine, active substance, medical aid, cosmetic product, a substance for production of a cosmetic product neither for human consumption that is any food or food supplement or otherwise similarly used on humans or animals. Intended only for in-vitro research, such as Receptor-ligand binding studies, Enzyme activity assays, Cell proliferation assays, Cell signaling assays, Epitope mapping, etc.

Frequently asked questions

  • GHK is a tripeptide (Gly-His-Lys) endogenously found in human plasma. GHK-Cu is its copper(II) complex (C₁₄H₂₄N₆O₄Cu, MW ≈ 403.9 g/mol). Many of the biological activities reported in literature are attributed to the copper complex specifically, not the bare peptide.
