Semax is a synthetic seven-amino-acid peptide derived from the ACTH(4-10) sequence, developed at the Institute of Molecular Genetics in Russia. It rapidly elevates BDNF and NGF expression while avoiding hormonal effects of full-length ACTH.

1. Neural Network Effects โ fMRI studies showed increased default mode network volume after intranasal administration.
